Bhimsen Joshi, a senior vocalist of Indian Classical Music, who is also known as ‘Swar Bhaskar’, who has been very recently awarded ‘Bharat Ratna’ at Age 86.He has been previously awarded ‘Padmashri’, ‘Padma Bhushan’ and ‘Padma Vibhushan’ and now ‘Bharat Ratna’ the highest civilian honour to an Indian.He will recieve the honour from President on Republic Day.
